Ask a student

Do you have a question about a course, campus, or Loughborough? Or perhaps you want to find out about student opportunities and support? LSU run an ‘Ask a Student’ service where you can ask a current Loughborough student a question and receive a personalised response. We have mentors from each department who are trained to answer your questions.

We understand that you’ll naturally have lots of questions, and who better to answer them than our current students? Ask a Student gives you the perfect opportunity to ask any questions or get some first-hand insights into what it’s like to be a student here at Loughborough.

To get things started, simply complete the form found on the LSU website below and they’ll pass your questions onto a student who will reply to you. It really is that simple.

Omeiza Haruna

Omeiza Haruna

Fine Art student

I want to pass down any words of wisdom I’ve picked up during my uni experience to ensure that future students would have an even better experience - but I’m not sure how students could top my incredible experience here!

Peter Taylor

Industrial Design and Technology student

Getting reassurance from someone who has walked the walk really helps put the mind at ease and I hope I could have provided that for somebody.

Rachael Costello

Rachael Costello

Industrial Design and Technology student

Before I came to uni I had so many questions and it would have been ideal to be able to talk to a current student, I wanted to help prospective students feel at ease by answering their questions on what life at Loughborough is like.

Trishi Shah

Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry students

Its really nice to help the newbees settle in and feel comfortable before they arrive, having most of their questions answered and just to calm their nerves before they come, I know that was something I really wanted before I came to university!
