Rose is an Event Management Volunteer who has recently become an International Federation of University Sport Student Ambassador for 2022/23 representing BUCS. She began getting involved in the CVA through working at Rugby matches, Derby U23 Football matches and as a Loughborough Lightning Match Day Assistant. These experiences helped her gain experience to get a job at the UEFA Women's Euro 2022 as an Assistant Stadium Manager.

This led to Lucy engaging in a range of opportunities to develop her personal and professional skills, from a Sports Ambassador and SportMAD coach, to Chair of the CVA Committee and Sports Senate member.

Despite some initial setbacks Saloni's perseverance paid off and she found herself a role with Loughborough Phoenix Bowls Club managing social media accounts and maintaining stakeholder relationships. Whilst not a sport Saloni was familiar with she threw herself into the opportunity taking time to learn about the sport and use her knowledge and experience to help improve the media channels of the club.

Tegan has been a major part of the Women's Basketball Programme at Loughborough through her role as the AU Club's Chair, working tirelessly to improve the experience for club memebers and coaches. On top of that Tegan became one of the first Coach Coordinators as part of a new project the CVA launched in partnership with the Athletic Union to understand the needs and support the AU Coaches.

Since joining in the fall of 2020 for an MSc in Sports Management, Arjith has gotten involved in a number of roles and workshops, which was recently recognised when he was awarded "The Outstanding Student Volunteer" by the Athena Swan Extra-Mile Awards hosted by SSEHS.

Having already obtained his Rugby Referee qualification through the Welsh Rugby Union, Jamie started refereeing in the Intramural Sport Programme (IMS) as soon as he arrived. Whilst at Univeristy Jamie, who is involved with the Leicestershire Referee's Society, has officiated in a variety of environments, from IMS to British University and College Sports (BUCS) Men's and Women's rugby fixtures.

Whilst studying Sports and Exercise Science at Loughborough, Eddy got involved in a range of voluntary roles and undertook a placement with Loughborough Sport where he supported a number of performance programmes including Lightning Rugby, and Swimming. Eddy continued his journey within S&C into his final year as the lead S&C coach for BUCS Women's Rugby 1&2s, as well as an assistant S&C role at Leicester Tigers Academy.

Neill has supported sport at Loughborough across a variety of strands including volunteering as a Telford Sport Sec, coaching Shiver in the Rugby Super Series and as a S&C coach with Loughborough Students Rugby Development Squad. In recognition of his contribution Neill was awarded the CVA Unsung Hero Award at the 2020 Coach & Volunteer Academy Awards.

Gabriella has undertook a huge range of roles alongside her studies over the last 4 years. Andy has played a massive part in developing a really effective learning/review environment for rugby players at Loughborough. Working close to 100 games for the men's programme, Andy has built up both his experience and relationships with coaches and other staff leading to him acquiring a summer placement working for Hawk-Eye Innovations at the Rugby World Cup in Japan.

2nd Year Psychology student, Poppy McGourlay, stepped up to a committee role on on Loughborough Students Dance Club as Competition Coordinator wanting to get more involved and take part in as much as she could. Currently undertaking a placement with the team as a voluntary coach, Nathan spends on average 26 hours poolside a week coaching as well as additional planning, sport analysis and additional coaching roles with partner organisations like SwimSwiftElite.
