Snowsports at Loughborough caters for all abilities, from complete beginners to freestyle pros and British team racers. If winter sports are your passion, our club offers an exhilarating and inclusive environment to hit the slopes and fuel your love for skiing and snowboarding.
The Loughborough Students’ Snowsports Club welcomes everyone, whether you're strapping on skis or a snowboard for the first time or competing at an elite level. Our club supports both recreational and competitive skiers and snowboarders, providing a vibrant community for all skill levels.
Regular training sessions focus on race techniques, freestyle skills, and gym-based fitness to enhance performance on the slopes. As-well as offering weekly beginner and intermediate lessons.

Athletic Union (AU)
Loughborough Students’ Snowsports Club welcomes everyone, from complete beginners to seasoned professionals, offering opportunities to enjoy skiing and snowboarding recreationally or competitively.
The club competes in BUCS and national competitions, having podiumed at BUCS for the past five years and been champions for the last two.
Beyond competition, members can enjoy regular social events, including après-style gatherings, as well as the club’s annual ski trip to world-class resorts. Over the past five years, the club has taken more than 2,000 Loughborough students to the Alps.
Whether you want to compete, improve your skills or simply enjoy snowsports with friends, there are plenty of ways to get involved.
