Social Sport
The social sport programme offers free competitive weekly leagues to play socially with groups of friends, or you can enter a team through your department or society. The leagues allow you to define your own level of competition and it’s a great way to stay active and take a break from your academic commitments. This programme also offers the opportunity to get involved with one day events in more niche sports with a commitment to increasing the para sport offer.

Social Sport Exec

My role involves leading the exec team and collaborating with all strands of Loughborough Sport to improve the Social Sport Programme.

I run social media accounts and design content for all social sport channels. You will see me at Social Sport events taking photos and recording videos to publish afterwards.

I organize and manage the one day events for social sport. We create ODEs for less conventional sports and try to be as inclusive as possible to make sure everyone has a great fun day!

I sort all things netball including teams, fixtures and umpires. I work with the rest and the social sport team and am here to answer any questions you have about the programme!

My role involves organising the weekly matches that occur within the Tennis League as well as sending out the league rankings each week.

My role is to ensure that fixtures run safely, without a hassle, and at the same time communicate with the Social Sport Team executives and the teams that participate.

My role focuses on making sure the football league runs smoothly by ensuring teams attend fixtures and can record their scores, and any problems that arise are dealt with.
I work alongside the other football coordinator to maintain multiple weekly football leagues by creating fixtures and attending the matches.
