Gear Checking
All youth and junior riders must be gear checked before sign on / collection of number. The gear check will be positioned adjacent to the registration area. The gear check will be carried out by the rider
and overseen by an official. Please ensure that your gearing meets the British Cycling Regulations as follows:
Youth B = 6.45m
Youth A = 6.93m
Junior = 7.93m
Race management will not be responsible for any adjustments to gearing. If your bike fails, you will need to adjust it and present back to gear check to be checked again.
