Is camping available?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to camp overnight in campervans at Loughborough University. However, we have arranged an overflow car park for larger vehicles such as campervans and vans so you can bring these vehicles on site on the day of the event.
Is it possible to ride the course on Saturday 27th May?
Loughborough University is extremely welcoming and the course is always available for viewing. Please be aware of the speed restrictions around campus. Last year we witnessed riders taking too many risks the day prior to the event during the event build. We are still reviewing the best way to facilitate a course recce. On Saturday 27th there will be diversions in place to allow the course to be built safely. Further details will be available closer to the event. Practice slots will be available on the day of the event. The time slots will be published in the digital event manual.
This is something we need to clamp down for the long term sustinability of the event. So if you ride through a road closure you will be disqualified from starting the following day.
We hope you understand we want to keep everyone safe and want the race to continue in the future.
