Vice Chair of the IMS Programme
Matt has been very involved with volunteering in sport since becoming a Sport Sec for Robert Bakewell Hall. From then on he has moved on to becoming Vice Chair for IMS alongside studying for his degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Olivia has had a vast range of experience in volunteering through the CVA, from starting as an assistant athletics coach to securing a performance analysis placement with Loughborough Hockey, she has made the most of the opportunities the CVA has to offer.

PE Teacher - The de Ferrers Academy
Having always been involved in Sport from a young age, Lucy's passion for sport and how it could help push her to be the best she could be continued that alongside her studies at Loughborough. This led to Lucy engaging in a range of opportunities to develop her personal and professional skills, from a Sports Ambassador and SportMAD coach, to Chair of the CVA Committee and Sports Senate member.

Tegan Hargreaves
Coach Coordinator & AU Women's Basketball Club Chair
Tegan has been a major part of the Women's Basketball Programme at Loughborough through her role as the AU Club's Chair, working tirelessly to improve the experience for club memebers and coaches. On top of that Tegan became one of the first Coach Coordinators as part of a new project the CVA launched in partnership with the Athletic Union to understand the needs and support the AU Coaches.

Joining Loughborough for her MSc Sport & Exercise Psychology in 2018-19, Nainika brought the same enthusiasm for sport at home in India to Loughborough, throwing herself into a variety of opportunities.

During her time at university, Katie has really enjoyed getting stuck in and involved with all the opportunities here at Loughborough, from being Media Sec and Club Chair for AU Lacrosse, to helping with the kitting out process for Paralympics GB ahead of Tokyo 2020.

Rugby Referee & Officating Hub Manager
From an early age Kirsten has always been involved with sports. University has been no different where Kirsten has undertaken a range of roles during her studies including as a member of both the Athletic Union Welfare and Club Development Sub-Committees, a Lightning Netball and Super Rugby volunteer, and as a referee.

Matthew Lawson
Loughborough Students Futsal Club Chair
Matt's passion for futsal began when he started here at Loughborough, and since then he has gone on to become the Futsal Chair, helping drive the club's success as they entered the National Futsal Series this year. Matt's incredible contribution was recently recognised at the CVA Awards where he was awarded Sports Coordinator of the Year!

Gabriella has undertook a huge range of roles alongside her studies over the last 4 years. Gabriella started off volunteering as a Sports Sec with her Hall, Robert Bakewell in 2016 before undertaking a ranged of committee roles including Tramplonine Media Rep, Cheerleading Secretary, and Cheerleading Chair. Alongisde her roles as a media rep and secretary, Gabriella undertook a Performance Analyst role with the Hockey Programme.

Alongside playing for the Women's 2s Maddie wanted to give back to the club through volunteering and has undertaken a role on both the club committee and as a coach, not just helping enhance her own experience but also the experienceof other club members.

Poppy McGourlay
Competition Coordinator for Loughborough Students Dance
2nd Year Psychology student, Poppy McGourlay, stepped up to a committee role on on Loughborough Students Dance Club as Competition Coordinator wanting to get more involved and take part in as much as she could. Alongside fellow Coordinator Mamady, Poppy helped organise the club's annual competition, which is the UK's largest inter-University Dance competition.
