Powerbase induction
All our members have a part to play in creating an environment befitting of the facility, so we would like to remind you of the expectation to watch the induction video below before you begin training in Powerbase.
All new members are expected to watch this video, either in their own time, or preferably during a scheduled induction session at the beginning of the Autumn term.
If you are yet to download the Loughborough Sport app, please do, as all activities, including induction sessions, are only bookable through the app.
Please note, upon joining Powerbase members sign up to our wider terms and conditions. Sanctions will be applied to members who do not adhere to our standards and expectations.
In these terms and conditons, it specifically states: "We encourage all new members to undertake a free gym induction with one of our qualified Instructors prior to using the facilities. Alternatively, an induction video is available on our website or at reception on request. Those that choose to exercise without seeking any fitness advice from Loughborough Sport, will assume all liability and responsibility for any injuries caused by the exercises they choose to perform. However, competency in using the fitness suite may be questioned by our Instructors at any time and where competency levels fail, a full gym induction MUST be completed prior to accessing the facilities in the future. Failure to comply will result in termination of membership."
