Workshops coming soon!

Starting with a Gym Workshop for Women, our workshops series will be led by experts from across the University providing new skills and knowledge on a wide variety of sport, exercise and fitness topics. If you are a member of either Holywell Fitness Centre or Powerbase, workshops are free and included within your membership.

Gym Workshop for Women

If you are new to the gym and have never lifted weights before or just want to feel a little more comfortable and know you are doing it right, our resident expert Karen, will guide you safely through the basics, show you new skills and improve your workout experience.  You can choose to book onto all 3 sessions in the series, or maybe just 1.  If you are entirely new or have only ever explored the cardio area, then we would suggest booking onto all 3 to open yourself to the endless possibilities this facility offers.

This workshop is open to women, but places are limited so you will need to book! The easiest way is to book online or via the Loughborough Sport app. However, you can also book at reception or over the phone (01509 226250).  If you are not a member of our gyms, payment is required at the time of booking on a pay as you go basis, or receive a multi-buy discount when purchasing Class Credits.
