I spoke to my hall chair, who directed me to the Hub manager at the time, and I then helped with refereeing IMS and at AU training.

IMS, Super Series, All Stars, and AU matches and leading the rugby referee cohort as the hub manager.

Very enjoyable and key to my personal and officiating development.
How has being involved with Loughborough Sport helped you develop and progress (personally and professionally)?
Refereeing at Loughborough University helped me to gain experience and confident as a referee and to build key officiating skills. Give it a go, it might just be what your looking for, and stick with it - the first stages are always challenging but once you see some progress, things will get easier!
Finally, what do you enjoy most about volunteering?
I enjoy providing opportunities for others to enjoy themselves and develop and seeing signs of my own personal development.
