The Loughborough performance tennis programme has allowed me to train full time while also balancing my studies. The setup has the student-athlete mindset in every aspect, from training sessions outside of lecture times to offering a platform to continue playing both for the university and professionally. Loughborough is leading the way in British universities in terms of the package it offers and how close this the programme is to what a professional player would be receiving.

The coaching teams dedication to the programme pushes the excellent services already on offer to the next level. Providing in excess of 15 contact hours on and off court a week ensures that your individual needs are always met throughout the teams. Having a team of experts in a wide range of different fields from physio to sports psychology and everything in between means that you can enhance your game in every dimension.

The offer from Loughborough has enabled me to make incredible improvements in my game. From coming to university as a mid range county player, over my two and a half years being able to train in this environment with the amazing support team, I have been lucky enough to represent GB universities at Wimbledon on two occasions, as well as making semi finals of Barnstaple $15k, picking up an ATP world ranking of 1160. A lot of credit for these achievements goes to Tom Kisiel and the coaching team.
