A wide ranging programme with classes focused on relaxation, cardio and all round strength and fitness

With over 75 classes in term time across 3 dedicated studio spaces in Holywell Fitness Centre and the Sir David Wallace sports hall, our expertly designed programme has something for everyone.

Our classes are open to everyone, but places are limited so you will need to book! The easiest way is to book online or via the Loughborough Sport app.

If you are a Silver of Gold member, fitness classes are free and included within your membership.

If you are not a member of our gyms, payment is required at the time of booking on a pay as you go basis.

Dance Classes

Zumba

Zumba Fitness is currently one of the world’s fastest growing fitness programmes. It fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic fitness class that will blow you away.

Les Mills Dance

Les Mills Dance is an innovative dance workout. Each class features 10 stand-alone tracks that introduce new choreography from different genres. The workout is simple and easy to master, and no dance experience is required.

Body Balance

Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates all rolled into one to create a holistic workout that brings the body into a state of harmony and balance.

Pilates

A body conditioning routine that helps build flexibility and strength to develop a strong core, by toning abdominals and strengthening the back. It puts emphasis on spinal and pelvic alignment and breathing to relieve stress.

Yoga

Used for thousands of years as a meditation technique, this classical style Yoga class systematically works the entire body, stretching muscles and building foundation strength whilst raising your heart rate gently.

High Energy Classes

Body Attack

A sports-inspired cardio workout for building strength and stamina. This high-energy interval training class combines athletic aerobic movements with strength and stabilisation exercises.

Body Combat

BODYCOMBAT is a high-energy martial arts-inspired enjoyable workout designed to improve cardiovascular fitness, burn calories, and release stress. It's a non-contact class where participants punch, kick, and jab to upbeat and uplifting music, learning techniques inspired by various martial arts disciplines like Karate, Taekwondo, and Muay Thai. The class is designed for all fitness levels, with instructors providing modifications to accommodate various abilities.

Body Step

A high energy, full body cardio class that focuses on the butt and thighs, through using stepping movements. It will be sure to help you burn lots of calories and leave you feeling uplifted.

Grit Cardio

A high-impact cardio workout like nothing else. Designed to burn fat and rapidly improve athletic capability, this explosive, 30 minute team training session combines high impact body weight exercises and uses no equipment.

Indoor Cycling

Is a highly effective cardio and strength workout. In one 45-minute class, you’ll ride a stationary bike to the beat of great music - burning up to 600 calories in the process. Not only will your lungs be pumping, you’ll also work your glutes, calves, quads, hamstrings and core.

Legs, Bums and Tums

This class is a full body workout that aims to tone up your thighs, bum and stomach, great for those who want to lose weight, tone up or just improve fitness levels.

Strength and Conditioning Classes

Body Pump

A cardio fitness class that involves weights like dumbbells, barbells etc. Each section of the class works a different muscle group and is accompanied by a music track that is designed to get you in the rhythm and inspire your efforts.

Boxercise

Involves a variety of moves and techniques such as skipping, press-ups, shuttle-runs, sit-ups and pad work. A fun and challenging way to get a good all-over workout.

Circuits

Circuit training combines multiple stations of resistance training to improve muscular strength and endurance. Get ready for varied exercises to tone multiple muscle groups and get the heart pumping as you push yourself in a fun, group environment.

Les Mills Core 

Les Mills Core (former CXWORX) is a scientific core workout that uses athletic training principles to build strength, stability and endurance in the muscles that support your core. Each workout features a mix of proven core exercises and new integrated core training innovations.’

Abs Blast

This session will strengthen and tighten your core and abs.  It helps improve posture, improve strength and becomes the foundation of your workouts as you continue to improve your core conditioning.

Grit Strength

A 30 minute high intensity training programme with weights that will get you pushing harder to get stronger super-fast.

Kettlercise

A great full body workout using kettlebells, great for toning up and losing body fat. You will build power and core strength using functional movements such as swings, squats and lunges.
