Loughborough Rugby Trials 2021/22
Loughborough Rugby will be hosting trials for the Men's section of the Club for the 2021/22 season. Further information and how to register is detailed below. Please also see below for some information on the Women's Club.
Men's Rugby
Club Trials for the 2021/22 season will start on Friday 1st October and anyone wishing to be involved must register using the link below.
The trial will follow a multi-stage process including positional assessment and matches. Full details of the process will be provided at the Trials Presentation taking place on Friday 1st October, but please find an overview below:
Friday 1st October
- 915 – 945 Group 1 Registration (groups will be confirmed before this date), John Beckwith building reception area
- 945 – 1015 Group 1 Trials Presentation (mandatory for all players wishing to trial), John Beckwith Lecture Theatre
- 1030 - 1130 Group 1 assessment, 1st XV Pitch
- 1030 - 1100 Group 2 Registration (groups will be confirmed before this date), John Beckwith building reception area
- 1100 - 1130 Group 2 Trials presentation (mandatory for all players wishing to trial), John Beckwith Lecture Theatre
- 1145 - 1245 Group 2 assessment, 1st XV Pitch
Sunday 3rd October
- 930 - 1100 Group 1 Skills & Games (updated groups will be confirmed following trial on Friday 1st October), 1st XV Pitch
- 1100 - 1230 Group 2 Skills & Games (updated groups will be confirmed following trial on Friday 1st October), 1st XV Pitch
Tuesday 5th October
- 700 - 800 – Teams 1 & 2 training (teams TBC following Sunday session), 1st XV Pitch
- 800 - 900 – Teams 3 & 4 training (teams TBC following Sunday session), 1st XV Pitch
Wednesday 6th October
- 1300 - 1700 – Games, Towers Pitch

Women's Rugby
Women's Rugby sessions throughought October will be open sessions to anyone interested in trying rugby and joining the Club. Further details will be available at the Sports Bazaar or check out the women's Instagram @lborowomensrugbyunion or Twitter @LSWRFC.
