Loughborough swimmer Felix Auboeck secured a hard-fought bronze medal at the FINA World Cup in Budapest.

The triple Olympic finalist finished third fastest in the men’s 400m Freestyle with a time of 3:39.50.

In a competitive swim, Auboeck – racing in lane 4 – held his nerve to make the podium behind Danas Rapsys (3:38.29) and eventual race winner Matt Sates (3:37.92).

The FINA World Cup in Budapest concludes on Saturday 9th October 2021.
