O’Donnell starts as Lightning welcome Bristol Bears to campus

Looking to keep their winning momentum going this weekend as they welcome Bristol Bears, Lightning make five changes to their side that beat Gloucester Hartpury 29-21.

Making her season debut for the side, England powerhouse Cath O’Donnell will start in the second row, alongside Canadian International Abby Duguid. 

After impressive performances off the bench, Emma Hardy is given a starting shirt at 12 and Megan Davey steps into the starting scrum-half role.

In their previous encounter this season Lightning clinched the win at Shaftesbury Park for the first time in 3 years, beating Bristol Bears 12-5 in tricky conditions.
