Loughborough Lightning Netball Christmas Events Loughborough Lightning are hosting two events for netball enthusiasts of all ages this Christmas. A netballer teaching young girls Loughborough Sport launches the Women in Sport Mentoring Programme As part of the year-long EmpowerHER campaign, Loughborough Sport Coach & Volunteer Academy (CVA) is launching a year-long mentoring programme designed to support students that identify as women in developing their career pathways in sport through insights and guidance from expert female mentors working in sport, exercise and physical activity. Loughborough University Graphic Design students take part in an anti-knife campaign competition Over the summer, Graphic Design students took part in a competition to raise awareness about knife crime. Operation Jingle Bells: Donate a gift to a child this Christmas Operation Jingle Bells is an annual campaign led by LSU Action, supporting charities in the lead up to Christmas. Four people dressed as elves and one dressed as Santa Claus standing behind a pile of toys and the title 'Operation Jingle Bells, help us help children this Christmas'.
