Visit LU Arts at Loughborough University London

Join LU Arts at Loughborough University London to see how you can get involved in the arts and do something creative in your spare time.

From 2 December to 3 December between 11am-2.30pm, LU Arts will be at the University’s London campus to encourage students and staff to get involved in the arts.

Over two days they are giving you the chance to find out more about LU Arts and Radar (their contemporary art programme) as well as some hands-on activities.

LU Arts stand

On Monday 2 December, between 11am-2.30pm at the ground floor foyer, find out more about LU Arts! You can learn all about what they do and how they can help you get involved in the arts or support you to organise your own arts event. LU Arts will be handing out copies of their free journal and giving you a preview of the new London arts map, which will arrive on campus early in the new year.

You can also try out VR headsets and watch a virtual reality artwork that was created by Displace Studios and Loughborough University students at our Loughborough campus.

Meet our Radar Curator

On Tuesday 3 December 12pm-2.30pm at the ground floor foyer, meet our Radar Curator, Dr Lucy Lopez and find out how you can get involved in Radar, as an academic, researcher or student. Find out more about Radar

Discover the power of sewing (drop-in)

On Tuesday 3 December, 12pm-2pm at Future Space on the ground floor, unwind, create, and reconnect with yourself and others through the art of sewing. This two-hour drop-in workshop is a perfect opportunity to mend clothes, sew thoughtful gifts, or explore your identity through needlework. All materials are free, so come and let your creativity flow! You do not need to stay for the whole two hours so you can fit this into your busy timetable.
