Operation Jingle Bells: Donate a gift to a child this Christmas

Operation Jingle Bells is an annual campaign led by LSU Action, supporting charities in the lead up to Christmas.

This year, Loughborough Students’ Union are once again supporting three charities: Toys on the Table, Charnwood Toy Appeal and Life Beacon, which all help to support children around the Christmas period.

Loughborough University staff and students are encouraged to donate a present to a child that otherwise would not receive one this Christmas.

You can donate anytime from now until Wednesday 11 December by:

  • Placing an unwrapped present into the sleigh located in the Students’ Union Building
  • Purchasing a gift from the Operation Jingle Bells’ Amazon wish list
  • Donating to the JustGiving page

Toy donations should be valued between £5-10; although there is no age limit on donated toys or gifts, any donations made should target 8 to 16 year olds. Your gift must be new and in its original packaging.

Visit the Operation Jingle Bells webpage for more information.
