Print, Post & Logistic Services - Campus Printing Device Removals
We are removing several printers across the campus to streamline our printing services and enhance overall cost efficiency.
Why does the work need to be done?
This is part of a cost reduction exercise as we have lots of printers with low usage and areas where we have multiple printers in close proximity. By consolidating our printing resources, we aim to reduce maintenance costs and energy consumption while ensuring that all users have access to well-functioning devices.
Timescale
Removals will take place during the week commencing 21 July 2025. Please ensure that you are aware of these changes and plan accordingly.
How will the works affect me?
- If your printer is due to be removed, it will have a label on it explaining that it is going to be removed and where your nearest printer will now be.
- You may experience a brief disruption in printing services as the changes are implemented, but we aim to minimize any inconvenience.
- We encourage you to familiarise yourself with the new locations of available printers in advance to ensure a smooth transition.
