About this event

Loughborough University and Obu Invest invite you to a unique masterclass designed to support aspiring women angel investors in the Midlands.

Have you ever thought about becoming an angel investor? Are you curious to learn how to find, evaluate and potentially invest in startups aligned with your values? Would you like to demystify the world of angel investing - from what you see on Dragons Den to what it could mean for you? Whether you're new to angel investing and curious to build know-how or you're looking to actively invest in a startup, this event will provide know-how and inspiration to enable you to take your next steps.

Why Attend?

  • Build an understanding of angel investing and how it shapes the world we live in
  • Learn how to create an investment philosophy that reflects what matters most to you
  • Demystify the investment process by hearing first-hand from angel investors who are just a few steps ahead of you
  • A chance to meet like-minded people and network.

No prior experience of angel investing is needed to join the masterclass and by coming along, you will also be given access to Obu's 'How to be a good angel' eLearning course.
