The Loughborough Student Advice and Support Service holds an Advice Quality Standard (AQS); the quality mark for organisations that provide advice to a specific group of people on social welfare issues. For us this includes housing law, contract law, immigration, and money advice including student finance & debt. We are able to advise students, prospective students, and recent graduates of the University.
In order to achieve this standard we have demonstrated that we are easily accessible, effectively managed, and employ staff with the skills and knowledge to meet the needs of our clients. We are very proud to be able to display this logo in our office, in our emails and on our website:
We are able to advise on all aspects of student finance including loans, grants, hardship funds, welfare benefits and debt.
Contracts, deposits, sharing, tenants’ rights and obligations, repairs and poor housing conditions and home safety.
The Student Advice and Support Service provides advice for international students on a wide range of issues.
For independent help and support on academic misconduct, academic appeals, mitigating circumstances claims, complaints, disciplinary and traffic/car parking offences (on campus) please contact LSU Advice:
