Loughborough Lightning announce departure of Assistant Manager Richardson

Loughborough Lightning Football Club announces that Assistant Manager Sarah Richardson will leave her position to pursue another opportunity.

Richardson joined the club in 2023 and has been instrumental in supporting the team’s development and success.

During her tenure, Richardson contributed significantly to the club's success. Her insights and dedication were pivotal in the recent promotion to Tier 3 of the FA Women's National League.

Head Coach Charlie Baxter expressed gratitude for Richardson's contributions, “Sarah has been an excellent coach for Loughborough Lightning. She has shown incredible dedication, hard work and football knowledge during her time here and has contributed to the club’s achievements over the past two years.

We all wish her all the best for the future, and I’m confident she will succeed wherever she lands next.”

The club will begin the search for a new assistant manager to continue its commitment to excellence.
