Loughborough University’s dedicated website for the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games is now live.

Following the progress of Loughborough-linked personnel, the website will feature the latest news, video features, athlete profiles, and medal tables.

Alongside all the latest headlines from Birmingham, the website will also host in-depth interviews with our athletes, academics, and sporting partners. These will cover key themes such as psychology, Para sport, performance research, eating behaviours, and sports technology.

The website can be found here: https://www.lboro.ac.uk/sport/commonwealth-games/

The University also has a dedicated Twitter page for the Commonwealth Games. You can follow the page by visiting @lboro2birm

The 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games is the first major multi-sport championships held on home soil since the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Loughborough will be well represented in the second city, with over 120 athletes, coaches, support staff, and practitioners set to feature at the Games.

The Commonwealth Games will take place from 28 July – 8 August 2022.
