Loughborough Lightning
Our Lightning franchises in cricket, netball and rugby promote excellence in women's sports. Our teams compete in the top tier of domestic competition with home fixtures regularly covered on Sky Sports with highlights on BT Sport. With local crowds of up to 1500 people, supporting our Lightning franchises can allow you to reach local, international and global markets.
British Universities and College Sports (BUCS)
BUCS run the national sporting competition between all higher and further education institutions. With over 5,900 teams competing and over 80,000 students taking part in weekly competitions across the academic year this competition gives unequaled access to the top tier of competitive sport at universities in the UK. We have won this competition for 39 years running and offer a variety of prestigious team sponsorship opportunities.

Events
Loughborough International Athletics
For nearly 60 years we have hosted the Loughborough International Athletics event. With a host of global stars competing, this is seen as one of the highlights of the international athletics circuit. Event sponsorship and branding opportunities are available to give your brand exposure alongside Olympic and Paralympic athletes.
Loughborough Intramural Sport (IMS)
IMS is a sporting competition between our 16 halls of residence. With regular weekly competition in a range of sports amounting to over 1400 fixtures a year, IMS is a fantastic way to reach our students. There are 20 large scale tournaments and a number of showcase events hosted throughout the year which garner thousands of spectators. If you want to promote your brand to some of the most employable students in the country, IMS is for you.

Loughborough Big Match

I would definitely recommend sponsorship to local businesses, Lightning and women’s rugby is a growing sport and would be a great vehicle for advertising their services. On a personal level, we’ve regularly attended Lightning home matches and I just wanted to contribute in some way and take away any financial costs for the players’ training.
As an all girls’ school, Leicester High encourage our girls to achieve in whatever field they choose and to not be constrained in any way in their ambitions by their gender.
