National Badminton League

The National Badminton League brings together some of the strongest badminton clubs in England. Each season, Loughborough University competes against a line-up of top teams, testing our players against the very best in the country.

Organised by Badminton England, the NBL brings together the country’s leading clubs and institutions in a league format designed to showcase the very best of the sport.   

Home fixtures will be staged on campus on the following dates: 

Timings

• 6.30pm: Doors open
• 7.00pm: Match starts
• 9.30pm: Estimated finish 

Format

The match will consist of five Events: Open Singles, Women’s Singles, Open Doubles, Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles. Your ticket includes access to all five Events. 

Ticket pricing

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult (18+)  
Supervising adults are responsible for the child's safety and conduct. 

Tickets can all be purchased via the Loughborough Sport App. You can download the app here. 

Venue

Netball Badminton Centre, Loughborough University, Epinal Way, Loughborough, Leicestershire LE11 3TU. 

Refreshments

Refreshments will not be on sale in the event venue however we do have “Food on the Go” vending machines at the Tennis Centre (2 minutes walk away) offering hot and cold drinks, sandwiches and snacks (card payments only). 

Prohibited items

Glass cannot be brought into the venue.  Bags may be searched upon entry. 

Parking

An ANPR parking system is in operation at Loughborough University.  All vehicles entering campus will need to pay for their parking through one of the following methods: 

• APCOA Connect App 

• APCOA Connect Pre-book website 

• APCOA Phone payment via 01895 262 122 

• One of the cashless machines on campus 

Parking charges are as follows: 

• Mon-Fri - charges range from £1 for 2 hours to £4 for the full day; £1 from 6PM to 8AM 

• Sat / Sun - £1 for up to 24 hours
