Our vision is to be world leaders in para and disability sport

Loughborough’s Para and Disability Sport Strategy (2024-2030) reflects our desire to create opportunity in disability sport, including performance, participation, and workforce development.

How can I get involved?

We offer a broad range of para and disabled sport opportunities. Our disability sport offer supports a wide variety of activities, including boccia, goalball, sitting volleyball, and wheelchair basketball.

Performance

Loughborough University is home to one of the largest multi-sport communities of para-athletes within a higher education institute in the UK. We offer seven integrated AU para sport performance programmes and compete in eight BUCS para sports.
