Asymptomatic tests are a rapid Lateral Flow Test which produce near-immediate results. They are less accurate than the tests used for those who have symptoms and they only give a snapshot of your status at that point in time. However, they do give additional reassurance for those who are without symptoms.

There is no charge for the test.

Those on the Loughborough campus can book through the University’s Connect and Protect website. Those on the London campus have been contacted separately about booking arrangements. Colleagues may take up to two tests.

Please be aware that, due to the nature of our agreement to operate the Test Centre, we are not able to test family members of Loughborough staff and Doctoral Researchers. We are also unable to offer PCR tests (required for international travel) to members of staff.
