EDI Open House: Join The Conversation

About this event

The Higher Education Sector is working through challenges in relation to balancing freedom of expression, inclusivity and anti-discrimination. At Loughborough, we embrace these challenges through the commitments set out in our EDI Core Plan - promoting respectful, constructive dialogue and fostering a culture where diverse views can be heard, challenged, and debated in line with the Freedom of Speech Act 2023 and the Equality Act 2010.

EDI Open House is a regular event, hosted by EDI Services, designed to create a safe and welcoming space for open conversations on issues affecting equity, diversity, and inclusion across our campus community.

All members of the University community are welcome to attend and either raise discussion points on the day or post matters they would like to be discussed beforehand via the EDI Edi@lboro.ac.uk inbox and have them read out on your behalf.

The sessions will be hybrid so you can join the conversation in-person and online. For those who join in person, light refreshments will be provided.

EDI Services welcome feedback and suggestions regarding the Open House or other opportunities for expression, and they look forward to seeing members of the community there.
