Understanding the UK Government’s Consultation on Proposed Changes to Settlement and ILR
There is ongoing public and political discussion surrounding potential reforms to the UK’s immigration and settlement system. These proposals, outlined in a current Government consultation open until 12 February 2026, include significant changes to the requirements for obtaining Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) and the broader pathway to settlement.
Dorine van Meel announced as final artist for Radar’s ‘Rehearsals (for a world we could live in)’ programme
Loughborough University’s contemporary arts programme Radar is welcoming artist Dorine van Meel to campus next month as the final artist in its Rehearsals (for a world we could live in) programme. The visit will include a free artist talk, which is open to all.
Important information for staff who park in the east and central parts of campus
As you will know, work has commenced on the new student accommodation near the Edward Herbert Building. We previously notified colleagues that this necessitated road and car park closures, and that two temporary car parks had been created to largely mitigate the loss of spaces.
