This is the third year of the annual Vice-Chancellor’s Awards, which recognise and celebrate the ways staff from around the University have demonstrated their commitment to the University's aims and values.

As one of the premier events in the University calendar, we encourage all staff to get involved and take the opportunity to celebrate the fantastic work of their colleagues and peers. – the Vice-Chancellor’s Awards offer a platform to recognise the excellence of these Loughborough University staff.

The nominations for the 2024 Vice-Chancellor’s Awards will open on Wednesday 1 May, and will close on Friday 31 May.

As we move into the third edition of these awards at Loughborough University, it is hugely important to me that we take the opportunity to celebrate the outstanding work of our staff throughout the year. The University could not achieve what it does without the hard work, dedication and creativity of individuals and teams from across our campuses.

Building on the successes of 2023, I encourage all colleagues to nominate those who you recognise as making a real difference. I look forward to reading the nominations and celebrating the achievements of our finalists at the awards ceremony in September
