Water Polo

Loughborough Water Polo Club welcomes players of all levels to join one of the most dynamic, challenging, and rewarding team sports around.

Water Polo at Loughborough offers an exciting blend of fitness, skill, and teamwork. Whether you’re an experienced player or completely new to the sport, our sessions focus on developing technical ability, game awareness, and swimming fitness – all while having fun in a supportive environment.

With dedicated men’s and women’s teams competing in BUCS leagues throughout the year, there are opportunities to play at a high level, represent Loughborough, and challenge yourself against other universities. For those looking for a more social or recreational experience, we also provide plenty of chances to train, play, and improve without the pressure of competition.

Our club prides itself on its inclusive and welcoming atmosphere. With around 60 members, you’ll quickly feel part of the team – whether your goal is to compete, get fitter, or just try something new. All equipment is provided, and newcomers are encouraged to attend taster sessions to experience this fast-paced, gratifying sport first-hand.
