Softball, Baseball and Rounders

At Loughborough, Softball, Baseball, and Rounders offer the chance to compete, have fun, and be part of an inclusive club for players of all levels.

The Loughborough Students’ Softball, Baseball, and Rounders Club welcomes everyone, from beginners to experienced athletes, fostering a supportive community for both competitive and recreational players. With a strong track record of success, including multiple victories at the National University Softball and Baseball Championships, our clubs are a powerhouse in university sport.

The club fields two open baseball teams, two open softball teams and one rounders team, all competing in BUCS leagues and national championships. Our baseball teams also participate in the Northern University Baseball League, founded by our Club President in 2015 to promote inter-university competition.

Training sessions occur three times a week, each focusing on different aspects of the game, including batting, fielding, and strategy, ensuring players can develop their skills and grow in confidence. Whether you're aiming to represent Loughborough at national tournaments or enjoy casual games with friends, the club provides the coaching, structure, and community to make it happen.
