Padel

Padel, one of the UK's fastest-growing sports, has arrived at Loughborough’s Athletic Union. Combining the scoring of lawn tennis with the dynamic court play of squash, padel is played on smaller, enclosed courts where players can use the walls to their advantage. Perfect for doubles, this exciting racquet sport welcomes players of all levels to join the fun and embrace the challenge.

The Loughborough Students’ Padel Club invites players of all skill levels to join a vibrant and energetic community. Starting in September 2025, training sessions will be held on campus and at We Are Padel Derby, offering access to professional facilities. Members can choose between performance or development pathways, with coaching from national-level experts to enhance technique, strategy, and court awareness.

The club fosters a welcoming environment, blending competitive spirit with social events to build lasting connections. Whether you're picking up a padel racquet for the first time or aiming to compete, the club provides tailored support and a fun atmosphere to help you grow in this fast-paced sport.
