Our Archery Club is the perfect place to develop your skills, compete, and have fun. We’re open to all students at the University and Loughborough College, and we pride ourselves on being a welcoming, supportive community.
Our members range from first-time bow users to experienced competitors, and we currently have around 80 active archers. We train both indoors and outdoors, giving you the chance to shoot all year round.
Ways you can get involved

Athletic Union (AU)
We compete regularly in a local university league, the indoor and outdoor BUCS Championships, and the British University Team Championships, so there’s always a chance to test your skills and represent the club.
Joining the Archery Club starts with our Beginner’s Course - a fun, three-week introduction with six hands-on lessons. It covers essential techniques, different bow styles, and a practice competition.
Once you’ve completed the course, you can train at up to four indoor sessions a week during term time and enjoy outdoor shooting in the summer months.
We use the Tennis Centre and New Victory Hall as our training facilities, and our members train up to five times a week.
From your very first arrow to your first competition medal, we’ll be there to help you aim high and hit your goals.
