Trials and tasters for all Athletic Union clubs are now live.
Visit the trials and tasters webpage below for more information on where, when, and how to book.
Athletic Union (AU)
Our 62 AU clubs offer you the chance to represent Loughborough University in competitive sports. With regular training sessions and weekly matches, these clubs are great for those looking to become a part of a passionate sporting community.
Trials and taster sessions take place at the start of the academic year. To join an AU club, you'll need a Purple Membership.
Visit the Sports Bazaar on 28 September 2024 to discover more about AU clubs.
Hall Sport
Hall Sport (IntraMural Sport or IMS) is an opportunity to represent one of the University’s 16 halls on campus in a range of sports leagues and events.
It's perfect for those who love competing without the commitment or costs of intense training or travel.
To join an IMS League, contact your hall's Sport Secretary when you arrive. To stay up to date, follow your hall on social media.
Social Sport
Social Sport is a free weekly league where you can play with friends or join a team through your department or society.
It's ideal if you want to play with friends, meet new people and enjoy a commitment-free sport experience.
League sign-ups take place on the Lboro Sport app from 1 October 2024.
Recreational Sport
Recreational Sport is for students of all abilities. It's a free programme of weekly activities where no experience is needed.
It's a great way to try something new in an inclusive, welcoming environment where activators can support and guide you.
You can book sessions 7 days in advance via the Lboro Sport app.
Coach and Volunteer Academy (CVA)
The CVA offers sports volunteering and leadership opportunities to students. We provide roles in various areas to help enhance skills and personal development.
To get involved in the CVA, you'll need to create an account on the online portal.
Briefings take place from Monday 30 October to Monday 14 October 2024.
