From 9-15 February, Loughborough Sport will celebrate the hard work and dedication shown by volunteer as part of Student Volunteering Week. Join a week of celebration and recognition events hosted by the Coach and Volunteer Academy.

Volunteering sits at the heart of Loughborough Sport. From coaching and officiating to media and event management, every strand plays a vital role in supporting a thriving sport ecosystem.

Student Volunteering Week is an opportunity to celebrate our volunteers while also exploring the wider wellbeing impact of volunteering - why students choose to get involved and the positive effect this has on individuals and the wider community.

Latest research shows that one volunteer enables nine people to take part in sport, with the well-being value of volunteering estimated at £700 per person per year.
