My Lifestyle Programme: Loughborough’s recreational sport offering for staff and students

The My LifeStyle Programme is available all year-round and offers recreational sports activities for both students and staff at the University.

Whether you are experienced in a sport or want to try something completely new, the initiative caters for everyone and is completely free.

Relax and unwind with yoga, burn off some energy with ultimate frisbee, try your hand at boccia, or master a cartwheel or handstand with gymnastics – there are so many opportunities and varied sports to get stuck into.

Equipment will be provided; simply turn up in some comfy clothing and trainers.

You can book the sessions by downloading the Loughborough Sport app. On the home screen, you will notice a range of tiles – simply scroll down until you see the grey ‘My LifeStyle’ tile with the basketball hoop icon. Please note you will need to accept some terms and conditions before booking onto any My Lifestyle session.

As this week is Mental Health Awareness Week (9-15 May), we want to highlight some of the upcoming sessions taking place for the rest of this week:

  • Thursday 12 May: 6pm – Indoor Cricket (New Victory Hall Court 1)

  • Thursday 12 May: 7pm – Tennis (Tennis Centre Court 5)
