Students: don’t miss the opportunity to be an ambassador
The University is looking to employ a new cohort of Student Ambassadors to represent Loughborough by assisting with events and participating in a number of initiatives. These are predominantly with the School and College Liaison Team and the Events Team, though opportunities do arise in other departments.
These events and initiatives include outreach to prospective students both on campus and in schools and colleges at events such as Open Days, HE fairs, campus visits, school talks, subject-specific masterclasses and lectures.
There may also be opportunities to get involved with the University’s marketing activities through specific telephone and online campaigns, social media marketing, blogging/vlogging and supporting design, web and print work across the year.
The Student Ambassador role is varied and flexible by fitting around studies and commitments, but it offers an exciting opportunity to enhance your personal development and gain a range of skills whilst earning a salary of £8.53 per hour of work completed (with additional allowance for holiday pay).
We want our ambassadors to be versatile team workers, reliable, enthusiastic and have strong interpersonal skills.
We welcome applications from both Undergraduate and Postgraduate students from any course area.
