Key Recruitment dates

  • Applications will open again in October 2021. Check here for updates.

  • Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic the recruitment process will be amended for 2021. As we are unable to conduct interviews, the 2nd phase of the recruitment process will be a video submission, where applicants will be asked to produce a short (1/2 minute) filmed presentation on a pre-determined topic. The deadline for these video submissions will be decided nearer the time.

  • Expressions of interest for the next academic year may be sent to the Student Ambassador Coordinator who will put you on the email updates list.


If you want to apply, the online application is below, but please read the job description carefully first, paying particular attention to the Person Specification section.

Step 1: Read Job Description and complete online application

The online application will be available on the Loughborough Vacancies page from early October 2021.

Firstly, you will be asked to complete your personal details, including education and employment history. We will also need the details of two people we may contact to provide a reference for you, including their relationship to you. You will also be required to submit a supporting statement detailing your suitability to the job with reference to the person specification, which will part of the job description. In your answer please include examples and evidence of the skills required for the role. 


Step 2: Shortlisted applicants interview

If your written application is successful, you will be invited to an interview. You will be asked to bring your passport or other documents so we can check you are eligible to work in the UK.


Step 3: Successful applicants will be required to:

  • Sign a contract and agree to our code of conduct, sent to you by email.
  • Attend compulsory training course (November / December).
