Showcase to be held for Doctoral Researchers

Loughborough Doctoral College is organising its annual Summer Showcase on Wednesday 12 June. It is open to Loughborough University and Loughborough University London Doctoral Researchers to attend and will be held in the James France exhibition area.

The vibrant event will run from 9:30am-1:30pm with a networking lunch to finish.

This is a chance for Doctoral Researchers to showcase their work and learn about the work of their peers.

The day will also include two competitions – the Summer Showcase Poster Competition and the Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) Competition. The first comes with a winning cash prize of £100 whilst the latter has an iPad Mini up for grabs, as well as an opportunity to compete in the national 3MT® competition.

New to the Summer Showcase this year is the Showcase Exhibition; an exciting opportunity for Doctoral Researchers to showcase the practical and creative implications of their academic endeavours. This can include but is not limited to poems, drawings, photographs, animations, dramatisations, puppeteering, computer simulations and physical prototypes.

Registration for the event closes on 11 June.
