Creative and Print Services win second award

Marketing and Advancement’s Creative and Print Services have recently received an award for their innovative work – which is their second within one month.

The team were named the winners of Best Multi-Channel Campaign at the Design Print and Marketing Awards for their work on the University’s Dementia campaign.

Judges commented it was ‘a smart and effective multi-channel campaign that encompasses social media, digital media, websites and print to deliver a high level of ROI which promotes the campaign very effectively’.

Head of Philanthropy, Rachel Third commented: “As a fundraiser, I found working with really experienced and passionate designers to be a game changer for this appeal.

“The fundraising team had clear sight of our audiences and the key messages we wanted to present, but being part of a project team with colleagues skilled in multiple disciplines gave the appeal creative flair and an edge in terms of the design and ‘feel’ of the whole package.

“As a result, we recruited 30% more donors than we forecast and raised more money than any previous appeal at Loughborough. The money raised will benefit people with dementia and their families through the Dementia House project.”

Alison Freer, Head of Creative and Print Services, added: “Winning Best Multi-Channel Campaign for our Dementia Campaign at the Print, Design and Marketing Awards is an incredible achievement.

“We were in a tough category alongside external design agencies working for blue chip clients, so to walk away with this award is a true testament to the team and collegiate nature of the #LboroFamily.”

They were also awarded for Best In-House Photography at the Association of Creative and Print Managers in Education (ACPME) Annual Awards which took place last month.
