Voices of Diversity: LGBTQ+ and Mental Health

About this event

EDI Services are pleased to announce the next panel event in the Voices of Diversity Mental Health series: LGBTQ+ & Mental Health.

As part of the Voices of Diversity Mental Health Series, EDI Services have sought to create spaces where people can explore issues that affect particular groups to reduce stigma, improve understanding, and create supportive inclusive environments. They seek to raise awareness of the lived realities of people from diverse backgrounds who are willing to have honest conversations about mental health issues and their impact on their lives.

Come along for an informative panel discussion on challenges, mental health, and wellbeing factors experienced by members of the LGBTQ+ community. The discussion will explore: the panellists lived experiences, the positive impacts of affirming environments, barriers to accessing healthcare and more.

All members of the Loughborough community - staff, students, and campus partners from all backgrounds -are encouraged to attend.
