The Loughborough Students’ Sub Aqua Club is open to everyone, from complete beginners to seasoned divers pursuing advanced qualifications. Affiliated with the British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC), we provide high-quality training delivered by a friendly and approachable team of instructors. Membership includes access to all necessary equipment, removing the need for personal investment, making it easy and affordable to get started.

The club offers a flexible approach to learning, with regular training sessions covering diving theory, pool-based skill development, and open water practice at renowned sites like Stoney Cove. For those looking to explore further, we organise exciting diving trips both locally and to some of the world’s top diving destinations. Whether you’re taking your first breaths underwater or aiming to enhance your skills, the Sub Aqua Club fosters a relaxed, fun atmosphere with no rigid training schedules, requiring only basic swimming ability to join.

Athletic Union (AU)

Loughborough Students’ Sub Aqua Club welcomes divers of all levels, offering a vibrant and inclusive community for both beginners and experienced divers.

Affiliated with BSAC, the club provides top-quality instruction, access to equipment, and a supportive environment to learn and grow. From theory and pool training to open water dives at Stoney Cove and international diving trips, the club caters to all, requiring only basic swimming ability.

With flexible membership options, Sub Aqua ensures an affordable, fun, and rewarding way to explore scuba diving while supporting members in achieving their diving goals. 

Training takes place up to three times a week at the pool or pool seminar room.
