Staff Meditation Session
The University Chaplaincy invites staff to meditation sessions delivered by a friend of the Chaplaincy, Natalie Steel.
The workshops provide a practical understanding of the relationship between the being and matter, aiming to facilitate your inward journey in an efficient and effective way.
Learn about:
- Consciousness and self-realisation
- The law of action and reaction
Explore how to:
- Make time and space for meditation to establish a daily practice
- Harness your thoughts, emotions and responses
- Use your meditation skills in everyday life
There are three scheduled sessions available to book:
- 28 May
- 25 June
- 30 July
The sessions will follow a learn-practical application structure, 15 minutes learning about how meditation can be used to develop wellbeing and 15-20 minutes meditation practice.
About the facilitator
Natalie Steel has had a varied career in banking, television and social services, working with people with learning disabilities. For the last 15 years, she has coordinated activities for the Brahma Kumaris in Loughborough and the Midlands, facilitating wellbeing seminars and workshops at the University and in the community.
