Pop-up Maker Space

Take a break and get creative at our free lunchtime drop-in.

Come along to the first Pop-up Maker Space of the year, with quick and simple creative activities suitable for all. Everyone knows that it’s good to take a break from your desk or screens for a short while, and doing something creative can be great for your wellbeing. Whether you’ve got 15 minutes or an hour, there’s something you can make or do in the time you have.

Each Pop-up session will have a different focus, which will be self-led with simple instructions to follow if needed. For October’s Pop-up, the main activity will be creating your own bookmark. Decorate the pre-cut bookmarks with pens, stickers and craft punches, and don’t forget to add a tassel!

In addition to this, there will be basic art materials available at every session for you to use, including paper, paints, origami and colouring sheets. The LU Arts Events Assistants will be on hand to welcome you and chat.

The Pop-up Maker Space will take place on the fourth Thursday of the month in different locations on campus from 12.30pm-2.30pm. Keep an eye on our website for details of each session.
