Hosted by C-DICE, the Centre for Postdoctoral Development in Infrastructure, Cities and Energy, this interactive workshop equips researchers with the confidence, strategies, and practical tools to build and maintain meaningful professional connections. Experienced and accredited researcher development coach Dr Katy Mahoney leads it.

Participants will explore how to network with purpose, identify their Core Circle of key contacts for strategic support, and develop a personal pitch that authentically represents their work and goals. Through practical exercises, they will also learn effective follow-up techniques to sustain relationships after conferences, events, and collaborative meetings.

By the end of the session, researchers will be better prepared to expand and sustain their networks in a way that supports their development and creates new opportunities for collaboration.

Late-stage PhD students, postdoctoral researchers and Early Career Researchers in net zero topics are all welcome.
