Ideas to Impact Loughborough 2026
Loughborough University Research Academy and the LU IP Commercialisation team are pleased to deliver the Ideas to Impact 2026 workshop.
Ideas to Impact 2026 offers a valuable opportunity for staff and doctoral researchers to gain the foundational knowledge needed to explore the next steps in innovation and enterprise.
The workshop provides an introduction to the commercialisation of university research innovations, covering topics such as identifying intellectual property, IP protection, business model and value proposition development, university IP policy, and the support available to help researchers turn ideas into real-world impact.
Ideas to Impact is aimed at researchers and academics at all career stages, including:
- New lecturers
- Senior lecturers
- Readers and professors
- Research associates, assistants and technicians
- Doctoral researchers (PhD students)
The workshop welcomes colleagues from across all University Schools and disciplines, creating an interdisciplinary environment for learning and collaboration.
