Himalayan Singing Bowl Sound Healing
Chaplaincy invites staff to a new wellbeing session promoting relaxation and calm. Whether you’ve participated in a sound healing/bath session before or not, you are welcome.
Himalayan Singing Bowl Sound Healing, as a practice, can help tune your mind, body, and spirit in a harmonious state where one can experience inner peace and joy. People who have experienced the Singing Bowls healing usually share that it instantly helps to improve their sleep, reduce stress, and calm their minds. They said that they feel more grounded and/or are more aware of the needs of their body and mind.
The session, led by Dora Pratley-To, will begin with a short, seated meditation followed by 45 minutes of lying down. Please ensure that you read the joining instructions prior to registration, as sound healing is not suitable for various health and medical conditions.
To prepare for this session, you will need:
- A yoga mat
- A blanket
- Pillow or cushion for your head
- Eye-pillow or eye mask (optional)
- Comfortable clothing (recommended)
We have three dates scheduled:
- Wednesday 11 February
- Tuesday 28 April
- Thursday 25 June
There are 16 spaces available per session; once full, you will be placed on a waiting list.
PLEASE NOTE: Singing Bowl Sound Baths are not recommended during the first and last trimester of pregnancy or if you have a pacemaker or have had surgery in the past month. They may not be suitable for people who have metal implants (not including dental fillings), are sensitive to sounds, including Tinnitus and Meniere's, have some forms of Epilepsy and seizures, and have some mental health issues. Please contact us if you have any questions.
Further joining instructions will be sent with a calendar invitation to confirm your booking.
