Guided Christian Meditation: Love Joy Peace

In a letter written in the 1st century, Saint Paul wrote ‘…the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.’

The 'Love Joy Peace' sessions explore how we can develop these spiritual ‘fruits’ through the practice of imaginative meditation. Using discussion, explanation and meditation, you are invited to explore five major themes of Christian spirituality that invite us into love, joy, and peace.

The course is designed for everyone, and no previous knowledge or beliefs are needed. You are welcome to attend either all of the sessions or some of them, as each one is designed to be valuable in its own right.

The sessions are as follows:

  • 11 June, 12.30pm-1.30pm - God
  • 16 July, 4pm-5pm - Peace
  • 5 August, 12.30pm-1.30pm - Forgiveness
  • 27 August, 4pm-5pm - Silence
  • 10 September, 12.30-1.30pm - Hope
