Carbon Literacy Training
Do you want to become Carbon Literate?
Join the Sustainability team for a structured, interactive and discussion-based 2-day workshop to understand the science and impacts of climate change, explore carbon footprints and learn how you can make a difference. Upon completing the course, you will become accredited as ‘Carbon Literate’ and receive an internationally recognised certificate.
To become certified, you will be guided to make two pledges: one to reduce your individual emissions and another to reduce emissions within your group. You will also be asked to outline what you have learnt in the training so the Carbon Literacy Project can gauge your level of carbon literacy.
You will need to attend both sessions to complete the training. Participants also complete a preparatory task by watching and reflecting on a short film.
Session dates:
- Thursday 6 November 1pm-4pm
- Thursday 13 November 1pm-4pm
These sessions align with the Carbon Literacy Action Day (CLAD).
